PRIVACY
This policy explains what Limbu collects, why, and how you get it back or wipe it. We do not sell your data. Progress lives on your account, not on the phone.
01 · WHO WE ARE
Limbu is a pixel puzzle platformer operated by LeadTurtle (“we”, “us”). Contact: pratik@leadturtle.tech. You walk rooms, answer door puzzles, dodge pits, floods and crush shafts, and compare XP on live boards.
02 · WHAT WE COLLECT
Account. You can play as a guest (Firebase anonymous, or the shared review guest), or sign in with Apple or Google. With Apple or Google we receive the email and name that provider shares. Apple lets you hide your email; we accept the relay address. You pick a public handle and a 10-letter player name.
Play. XP, coins, badges, which rooms are open, the current / continue room, per-room best time, deaths, wrong answers, and each finished run.
Device. Platform, app version and, if you allow notifications, a push token from Firebase Cloud Messaging.
Ads. Limbu is free and shows ads through Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK collects the device advertising identifier (Android advertising ID, or Apple IDFA if you allow tracking), IP address, approximate location derived from it, and ad interaction data, to show, measure and limit ads and to prevent fraud.
Optional. If you allow location, the app reads an approximate position once, on the phone, to suggest your region. The coordinates never leave the device; only the region label is saved. You can also pick the region yourself. Email addresses you type when inviting a friend who is not on Limbu yet.
We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, payment cards or health data.
03 · HOW WE USE IT
To keep your save across devices, score runs on the server, unlock rooms, run the global / regional / friends boards, send alerts you allowed, deliver invites you asked us to send, keep boards fair, and show ads that keep the game free.
Player name, handle, region and XP are visible on leaderboards. Your email is never shown.
04 · ADS AND YOUR CHOICES
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask for consent through Google’s consent form before ads are personalised. You can change that choice any time in Settings → AD PRIVACY CHOICES. On iPhone, Apple asks whether Limbu may track you; if you say no, ads are not personalised with your IDFA. On Android you can reset or delete the advertising ID in the device’s Google / Privacy → Ads settings.

05 · PUZZLES AND AI
Some door puzzles are written by an AI model (OpenAI) and checked before they reach the game. No personal data is sent to the model: it only receives the world theme and difficulty.
06 · WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
Google Firebase — sign-in and push delivery. Google AdMob — ads, as described above. Apple — Sign in with Apple. Hosting — our API and database. Email delivery — only when you invite someone by address, and only to send that one invite.
We do not sell personal data. Apart from the ad SDK above, we do not share it for advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it or to stop abuse.
07 · HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
While your account is open. Settings → DELETE ACCOUNT stops the account at once: name, email, handle and push tokens are erased and the Firebase sign-in is removed. Anonymous run rows may remain so puzzle statistics and historical boards stay correct. Ad data held by Google follows Google’s retention rules.
08 · YOUR CHOICES
Change your name, handle, region, sound, haptics and alerts in Settings. Turn off system notifications in device settings.
Delete account lives in the app under Settings → DELETE ACCOUNT, and on the web at the Delete account page. You can also write to pratik@leadturtle.tech for a copy of the personal data we hold, or to correct it.
09 · CHILDREN
Limbu is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. You must be at least 13 to create an account. Guest play needs no personal data. Parents: write to pratik@leadturtle.tech.
10 · SECURITY AND TRANSFERS
Traffic to the API is encrypted in transit. Servers may process data outside your country (including India, where we operate). By using the app you understand that.
11 · CHANGES
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we update this page and the date below. Continued use after that date is acceptance of the update.
